In the 2021-2025 new collective bargaining  agreement (CBA) that was reached out on 13th July 2021 the commission agreed with the teachers unions that teachers whose families were separated as a result of mass transfers will be deployed to work near their spouse.

After that agreement the teacher service commission noted that family values are set to be promoted. These transfers will sail if only vacancies are available and  among other requirements.

Part in CBA reads that “For family values to be promoted, the commission will consider transfers of spouses who are teachers and if vacancies are available and others requirements are there to be considered”.
