TSC Roars to Teachers over non-TPAD Compliant as 1st October Deadline Approaches .

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has send a strong Warning to all teachers that stern action will be taken against teachers/staff who will not comply with Teachers Performance Appraisal and Development .

Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development Online System was opened on July 26th beginning this term. On the same note TSC has set deadline for the same exercise to be on 1st October 2021.

All school Heads have been reminded to ensure all teachers are appraised and their documents countersigned by relevant officers.

“Teachers should take note on the stern measures that will be taken against staff who will in his/her part will cause non-compliance.” Read part of a memo from TSC County Directors to Sub County Directors.

In may this year,The teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) listed 2,349 primary school teachers and an extra 827 high school teachers for failing to work out their Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development program on time.

The Commision said that these teachers had either had an incomplete TPAD or an awaiting submission or appraisal, as well as or the Tpad not countersigned by the school head.

Considering above listing, thousands of show cause letters have been issued to teachers over the TPAD offences.

During this abnormalities, teachers were given Until 6th April 2021 to ensure they are fully appraised and the rating submitted online.

Performance Contract for school heads is available on the TSC website. The heads of an institution are expected to follow the PC calendar of activities. The PC should be downloaded and signed properly as required.

The TPAD online system provides for lesson observation which should be done at least once a term. A list of schools missing from the TPAD system in respective Counties should be submitted to the Commission.

Then enter your tsc number and number as your password then appraise .
