Teachers Service Commission, TSC has started releasing merit lists for teachers who are seeking to be recruited (5,000) and to replace 8, 230 secondary school tutors who exited services owing to natural attrition.
Merit lists for each county can be accessed at the county headquarters. These lists are very instrumental during this recruitment exercise since they make one to make proper decision as far as attending interviews is concerned.
Late last month, Teachers Service Commission declared 8,230 vacancies to replace teachers who exited service through natural attrition (6,539 posts for primary schools and 1,691 posts for secondary schools).
The Commission noted that teachers who will be recruited will serve on Permanent and Pensionable terms of service.
For primary schools, vacancies will be filled using the 2021/2022 Merit Lists. Successful candidates will be informed by the County Directors of the counties where they were merited.
