All applications for the advertised vacancies are due today, July 7, 2022, in accordance with the Teachers Service Commission’s recruiting schedule.
Following that, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) will publish the names of the teachers who will be successfully selected for shortlisting in the ongoing recruitment process on its official website.
TSC states that from Wednesday, July 13, to Friday, July 15, 2022, it will post all of the lists of the candidates who have been shortlisted online.
TSC advertisement indicates that the Commission seeks to recruit a total 14,460 primary and secondary school teachers as well as Teacher Training College (TTC) tutors by July.

TSC does not accept hard copy applications and therefore you must carefully submit your application online.
Some teachers have failed to make it to the TSC shortlisting of applicants because of their failure to submit their applications as required.
Eligibility
To qualify for recruitment, a candidate should meet the following basic requirements:
- Be a Kenyan citizen;
- Must be a holder of a P1 certificate in the case of primary schools and a minimum of a diploma in education in the case of secondary schools;
- Must be a registered teacher with Teachers Service Commission.
