With the recent uproar by a section of Kenyans on how TSC conducted the recently concluded mass recruitment of teachers where teacher interns were awarded 30 marks, there are still 27 schools which did not attract any teacher despite having advertised slots.
According to a memo sent to county directors , all teachers who tendered their application to St Rita Ramula Girls in Kisumu did not qualify for the advertised subject combinations making them not to be invited for the scheduled interview.
In some institutions like Lake Elementaita Secondary in Nakuru and Ombeyi secondary school in Kisumu the commission claim to have received application for one teacher each who did not turn up for interviews.
In Schools like:
- Tharaka secondary ,
- St polycarp Meso,
- Ndururi Secondary,
- Sawagongo Secondary ,
- St Anthony Engoshura ,
- Ngecho secondary ,
- St Thomas Amagoro,
- Gamalenga Secondary,
