The national marking of the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations will end today, April 15th, 2022, with the results scheduled to be issued officially before schools resume on Monday, April 25th.
Prof George Magoha, the Education Cabinet Secretary, announced earlier that this year’s KCSE marking will be done according to strict and precise protocols in order to maintain exam integrity at all costs.
The exercise took place in 35 venues and will end on Friday this week, allowing candidates transition to universities, colleges, and technical schools, according to Cs.
According to the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC), for the academic year 2021, 831,015 candidates registered for the KCSE exam in 10,413 centers.
Exams are graded on a subject-by-subject basis in a few select secondary schools and university institutions.
