The Ministry of Education in conjunction with Teachers Service Commission is recruiting County Trainers in JSS in the following learning areas;
- English/Literature.
- Kiswahili/Foreign Languages.
- Physics/ Chemistry
- Geography/CRE/IRE/History
- Biology/Home Science or Agriculture
- Computer Studies/Business
Applications are invited.
The applicants should meet the following requirements ;
- At least a Bachelors Degree in Education or a BSC/BA with PGDE in the specified subject/learning area.
- Must be employed by the Teachers Service Commission.
- Must have at least 5 years teaching experience.
- At least a Bachelors Degree in Education or a BSC/BA with PGDE in the specified subject/learning area.
- Must be proficient in ICT packages such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint among others.
- Must NOT be serving as head or deputy head teacher of an institution
The following will be an added advantage;
a) Being a SMASE County Trainer.
(b) Beinga School Based Teacher Support System (SBTSS) trainer
(c) Beinga CBC Champion teacher.
(d).Being a Subject panelist with KICD.
(e).Being a KNEC Examiner in the respective subject area cluster
(f).Being an ICT Champion teacher.
(g) Resourcefulness in terms of publication of books and periodicals in the relevant subject learning area.
