Pursuant to the provisions of Article 246(2)(i) of the Constitution and Section 5(1)(4) of the National Police Service Commission Act No.30 of 2011 (Revised 2020), the Selection Panel invited applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Member of the National Police Service Commission in the print media on 30th January, 2023 and 2nd February, 2023. The advert attracted three hundred and three (303) applications.

Following the conclusion of the shortlisting exercise, the Selection Panel publishes the names of the shortlisted candidates as shown in the table below.
Interview Date: Monday 20th March, 2023
The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at the Public Service Commission, off Harambee Avenue Nairobi on the date and time indicated.
Candidates should bring originals of the following documents:
(a) National Identity Card;
(b) Academic and Professional certificates and transcripts
(c) Any other supporting documents and testimonials; and
(d) Current and Valid clearances from the following bodies: Kenya Revenue Authority;
- Higher Education Loans Board;
- A Registered Credit Reference Bureau;
- Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Police Clearance Certificate);
- Printed Online Self-declaration Application Acknowledgement Receipt or a Self-Declaration Form duly stamped by the EthicS and Anti-Corruption Commission;
(e) Letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University Education (CUE) for candidates who possess degrees from foreign universities; and
(f).Recommendation from relevant professional bodies and associations (where applicable).
