The Ministry of Education has officially released approved co-curricular events Calender for 2023.
In a circular dated 7th February 2023,copied to all Regional Directors of Education, County Directors of Education, Sub-County Directors of Education, Principals of Teachers Training Colleges and other Tertiary Institutions to effect the calendar as given.
NOTE:The ministry of education has clarified that Rugby discipline in senior secondary schools will be held in term one and not term two as it was earlier indicated.
According to this year’s calendar, Rift Valley region will Host National primary school’s athletics championships at William Ole Ntimama stad in Narok County.
Whereas, Hill school and MOI girls in Uasin Gishu County will Host term one national championships which includes, Athletics, hockey, handball, swimming, basketball and Rugby.

The PS basic Education,Belio Kipsang directed all Regional Directors of Education to make Enough copies of the calender for basic education under their jurisdiction.
