Following the previous mass recruitment of teachers by the Commission. The successful candidates are expected to report to their stations beginning early next month 1st September 2021 as directed by the Teacher Service Commission.
It comes with a great joy that those teachers will look forward to receiving their full salaries however it also true that teachers do not receive their first month’s salaries uniformly. Some receive after month while others receive it later after 2 or 3 months.
This usually brought about by the fact that teachers service commission usually adjust their pay roll so as to accommodate the newly recruited teachers.
Below are reasons that may lead to a newly employed teachers to receive their first salary in time :
- Ensure you report to your new working station as specified in the posting later.
- Once reporting in your new station it’s recommended to log in to the attendance log book. This serves as evidence that you reported may be needed later.
- Make sure that you go to the principal’s office and sign the casualty immediately .This document is usually submitted to the Teachers Service Commission to serve as an evidence that you have reported to duty. The newly employed teacher is likely to receive the first salary in the month the causality is signed.
- Counter check details signed in the casualty are correct to avoid receiving a memo from by TSC to write a second casualty.
NOTE: once a newly employed teacher reports in the new stations before date 15th of the month and sign their casualties then deliver them to Tsc using the(G4s means ), are likely to receive their first salary early being that they will be included in payroll of that month.
In case a teacher sends a casualty after date 15th of that month of reporting might not receive salary unless they will wait till the following month.
