The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results for the year 2021 are now ready. Exam marking was completed on Tuesday.
Several examiners have given hints about the outcomes. According to several who gave tips, the standards for mathematics is 0.85, whereas the standardization for science is 0.84.
This means that if a candidate receives 40 ticks in mathematics, the maximum of 40 ticks will be 40 multiplied by 2 multiplied by 0.85 to yield 68 percent, and if he or she receives 50 ticks, the maximum of 50 ticks would be 85 percent.
According to examiners, standardization for mathematics is 85 percent, science is 84 percent, social studies is 84 percent, and religion is 86 percent, while English is 97 percent and Kiswahili is 97 percent.
They stated that English and Kiswahili were well-performed, with the majority of students receiving good grades.
The markers predict that this year’s KCPE scores would be better than last year’s.
However, these are only assumptions; we’re still waiting for the KCPE results to be officially announced.
Prof. George Magoha, the Education Cabinet Secretary, urged parents to begin preparing their children for form one entrance yesterday.
Magoha said the transition to secondary schools is the next emphasis after examining the ongoing KCSE tests in Vihiga county.
In terms of primary school exam marking, I believe we are nearing completion; we have goals and we are on track to meet them. “I’m going to start looking for H1 right now because we need to start talking about the results with him before we tell our kids,” Magoha stated Tuesday.
“They should begin preparing, and parents should prepare their children for admissions to form one,” he continued.
Magoha and Early Learning and Basic Education PS Julius Jwan had previously promised that the results will be released early to enable for a smooth transition to secondary school.
“We are adamant about not wasting any time. Exam marking will be completed in a short time, and results will be given to allow students to move on to the next step.
The official release of the 2021 KCPE results, according to Magoha, will take place any day this week between Wednesday and Saturday.
CS Magoha, addressing in Kayole during the inspection of KCSE tests, stated that the announcement date will be determined largely by His Excellency the President’s availability.
