Thursday, October 19, 2023, marked the rehersal day for the 903,260 KCSE candidates, according to the schedule for the 2023 KCSE test.
However, the exams will begin on Monday of the following week with oral questions in French, German, and Arabic as well as practicals in Kenya Sign Language and Music.
On November 24, the final day of the KCSE exams, Physics practicals will take place. Candidates for the KCPE and KPSEA, on the other hand, will practice on Friday, October 27, 2023.
Prior to the three-day national exams, most primary schools have already received their exam materials.
The KCPE and KPSEA will begin on October 31 and end on November 1 of 2023.
According to Knec, preparations for the 2.3 million students who will take the KCPE and KCSE exams this year are complete.
A total of 1,415,315 applicants will take the KCPE exam, and another 903,260 applicants will take the KCSE exam.
Additionally, KNEC Chief Executive Officer David Njengere stated that 1,282,574 Grade Six students will be attending KPSEA.
1) Ensuring that the center manager allots a secure space with a locked cabinet or cupboard for the storage of examination materials throughout the exam session aside from the question sheets and answer scripts;
2) Checking exam rooms to make sure they adhere to the Council’s standards and are free of stimuli, as well as to make sure the desks or tables are set up in accordance with those standards;
3) Giving candidates instructions on how to behave during the examination.
4) Supervisors should inform invigilators of their responsibilities during the exam session and assign them tasks
