The 2022 KCSE examination results are expected to be released today ahead of the beginning of the first term on Monday, January 23.
More than 800,000 candidates who took the KCSE 2022 exam will get their results today. Ezekiel Machogu, the Education CS, is likely to reveal the results soon.
A number of education stakeholders have begun to arrive at the Kenya National Examinations Council office on Dennis Pritt Road in anticipation of the announcement.
According to KNEC, there are three main ways for candidates to access their grades as provided by the Ministry of Education. Avoid over-excitement by knowing how to check KCSE results on your phone or computer.

Checking KCSE results via SMS
Parents, guardians, and students can check their results by sending the candidate’s index number followed by the initials KCSE to the code 20076.
Note:There should be no spacing after the index number’s last number and the initials “KCSE.”
Checking KCSE Results Online
The KNEC results are easily available by following the steps below:
- Login to https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke with your preferred browser.
- Enter your index number and then go to the KCSE Results tab.
- Select the examination year from the drop-down menu.
- Press the submit button.
- The findings will be available on the KNEC portal within a few minutes.
