The Commission on Revenue Allocation was established by Kenya’s Constitution in Article 215 and is governed by the Commission on Revenue Allocation Act 2011.
The Commission’s primary role is to make recommendations on the basis for the equitable allocation of national government revenue between the national and county governments, as well as among county governments.
