TSC has released new employment guidelines, those teachers who have masters and first class honors will stand a high chance of securing jobs in the upcoming recruitment.
Length of stay after graduation will be a higher determinant of who will secure the job and who will not. Those with subject combinations like Physics/Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and Chemistry/Biology are quickly absorbed by TSC since they are few. Applicants must present original and clear photocopies of the following
testimonials:-
- National identification cards;
- National Council of Persons with Disability (NCPWD) Card (where applicable);
- KCPE Certificates;
- KCSE Certificates (include first attempt certificate if repeated exams);
- Diploma/Degree Certificates and official transcripts;
- Primary and Secondary Schools leaving certificates
NB: Provisional transcript shall not be accepted.
Where names on the submitted documents differ, the applicant will be required to submit a sworn affidavit.
Graduate, Degree BA + PGDE or BSC + PGDE Masters Teachers, Diploma or Dip. Tech. Education trained teachers here is the score sheet;
Those teachers serving in internship will secure the ten marks during the interview and this will aid them an upper hand in securing jobs over other competitors.

NB:For purposes of scoring part B, year of completion of professional training
(BED or PGDE) whose certificate is used to score part A of this score sheet
determines the length of stay but not year of enhancement.
Advantage of Communication ability and Co-curricular certificate of participation
Co-curricular certificate plays a key role in tie-breaking, it earns a candidate 1 mark advantage. Co-curricular certificate ranges from activities like Football, Basketball, Athletics Rugby and Music. Normally, the most considered certificates are for Regional level and National level.
