Mama Ngina Girls was started on 25th January 1988 as a public double-streamed boarding secondary school for girls.
Personnel
The school has been headed by five Principals to date, namely :

KCSE Results
Mama Ngina girls is among the best-performing girls schools in Mombasa county.
In the 2021 KCSE examinations, the school attained a mean grade of 8.08 which is a B- minus, where 160 out of the 197 candidates who sat the exams attained the direct university entry grade.

Candidates can access their KCSE results by sending an SMS with their full index number (11 digits) to 20076. The SMS can be sent via any phone network; Safaricom, Telcom, Airtel with charges of Ksh.25. Do not include any spaces between your index number and the word “KCSE”, for example; 100467532KCSE.
You can also download the entire school’s results from the official KNEC website; https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/. You need to fill in the school’s credentials in order to access this.
Alternatively, you could visit the school to get your results. You can do this, usually a day after the results have been officially released. Note that students are required to carefully check their results slip for any errors; wrong sex, wrong index, or wrong name. Report to the principal immediately in case of any errors.
