At the end of December 2022, the Teachers Service Commission embarked on a program to delocalize teachers to their home counties. The Ministry of Education issued a circular to direct the exercise to guarantee a seamless and proper transition of the heads and principals.
All the materials that departing school administrators must hand in are listed in the circular sent by the principal secretary, Dr. Belio Kipsang. The Sub-County Director of Education oversees the exercise of handing over or taking over.
