Delocalization of Teachers to their Home Counties
To:LL Branch Executive Secretaries
Dear Colleagues,
RE :DELOCALIZATION OF TEACHER
We wish to draw your attention to the above reference.
Following the REPEAL of the delocalization policy by Teachers Service Commission (TSC).It is our wish to have all affected and willing members rerouted back to their former Counties the soonest.
kNUT CIRCULAR
We are directing all Branch Executive Secretaries to communicate this to our teachers, collect their details, compile lists from their respective Branches and send to our office using the attached format through [email protected] by mi-day of today 10th November 2022.
Treat this as urgent.
Please push hard for the issue of rerouting of delocalized teachers back to home counties. Personally, I’ll just be contented to be back to my sub county even if it means far away from my locality. This policy is killing us in totality.
Delocalization has left me disabled at the age of fifty two! I was involved in a road accident while on my way to school from my home County. I always remember the incidence with alot of bitterness. Let it come to an end. Amen
Even some of us who were currently employed are also undergoing the same problems, may almighty God intervine so that we may go back home.
Localization will do us (delocalized trs) good.Do it now please.
Please,,help us go back to our home counties,Me specifically,,I need to take care of my family well, nurture my children well, payback to the community tat assisted me alot, more so,,we shall live a healthy life and do more investment for our future,,this requires peace of mind and comfort,Again,,those who were newly married are denied the freedom to be with their partners which may cause more harm than good,Am happy when I come home in the evening after school,am warmly welcomed by my wife.Thats the sweetness of life.Sio kupiga simu Kila wakati nyumbani e.g”hello beb,,habari ya home,,,I really miss u much,,surely I love u”.Tommorrow the same words That’s really being unfair to teachers just in the name of national cohesion.Tukifanya hivo,we are missing the point,kwA college tulisoma na kabila yote,kwA market tunakutana pia.More so,teachers are more exposed, they will not indulge themselves in petty issues like ethnicity cause we are busy.please safe us tunaumia,,we are not comfortable cause our minds are divided.Disadvanteges of delocalization outweighs it’s advantages. Please!please!please!,,hear our grevances. We are comfortable at home and we shall deliver even beyond our expectation
May the living God of Nassareth see us ( delocalized) teachers through. We are seriously suffering. I personally undergone frustrations in my working venue, sexually harassed by .. then I reported the matter to sub office but the way hundled is not convincing at all , it had made me develope fear and uncomfortability even in the classroom . Yaani am just like ( woi! When will I go back my county???? ) Am in a too young marriage. God of Abraham and Jacob see us through.
Not that we hate the places of work we are currently, no not at all, it’s because us being delocalized teachers, we will not have families , homes to go back and hence we will die miserably, despite of having the good tittles, (Teachers). Kindly actualized the localization and our happiness will be your blessings.
Not a teacher myself but I can attest that indeed teachers have suffered due to that policy. Especially the young couples. That is good news.
Delocalisation has not benefited the teacher neither has it benefited the learners in anyway. I want to urge the government to do away with this completely. Families 👪 have parted ways, teachers are psychologically tortured, some have committed suicide 😢. Let Delocalisation end and never come again.
Apart from the so called delocalization,Tsc should also have a proper mechanism for upward mobility of teachers.lsnt it abnormal for a teacher to stagnate in one job group for too long, and yet the salary is too meagre.something should be done or else the profession becomes unattractive in days to come.
Staying away from your family (marriage)was not Gods wish!just reunited this nearly breaking marriages, to mentor their kids unitedly.
Whoever came with idea ,we forgive them, though it went down and touched my spine and I shall not forget this day ,18-5-2018:all hell broke loose and I found myself re-locating to Nyandarua from Nyeri,I was 53 and now 58 yrs old.I lost everything, cows ,goats and family.I sometimes considered taking away my life …..let me pen off cause I normally sheds tears on recalling that bad omen that befallen on me that day.God is steal on His Throne.
The following are disadvantages of delocalization with hardly any advantage:
1.Dismantling families
2.Poverty due to movements from work county to home country.
3.Instability due to disconfort
The three among others hatched a lot of descrepancies.
