KRA Announces job Vacancies Targeting Diploma & Degree Graduates; How to Apply
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) announced a 12-month paid internship program for 2023 on Tuesday, November 8.
KRA published the positions on its website with a focus on youth, in line with the government’s strategy to develop a pool of young talent for the Kenyan labor market.
This recruitment, which is intended for recent college grads, has a deadline of Sunday, November 27.
“KRA is seeking applications from fresh Bachelor’s Degree and Diploma graduates for its January to December 2023 Internship Programme. Law degree holders pursuing the Advocates Training program (Pupils) at the Kenya School of Law are also eligible,” read the statement in part.
Interns will work in the Authority’s Support Services division on projects ranging from human resources to finance to communication to data analytics to criminology.
After taxes and deductions, KRA will provide a monthly stipend of Ksh15,000. The tax man has announced that all applications must be submitted online.
Moreover, only the shortlisted applicants will be asked to provide identification and other legal documentation.
“Once selected, candidates will be required to submit proof of a valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, Certificate of Good Conduct, Copies of KRA PIN Certificate, NHIF, NSSF, ID card and Bank Account Details,” the notice read in part.
Requirements for Application
- Be a Kenyan citizen between the ages of 20 and 35 to apply.
- Must have received a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university between January and December of 2022.
- All applicants must be able to commit full-time for the whole twelve months of the program.
- A graduate intern cannot have participated in any previous related work experience or internship since graduation.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen to the ‘Open Career Opportunities ‘ section.
The internship position is listed in the first column. Go ahead and hit the “Apply Now” button.
In order to apply for a position with the KRA, follow the link to the organization’s online recruitment system. Type in your user name and password to enter.
After clicking the appropriate button, the “Applicant Cockpit” will load. Use the “Candidate Profile” menu item.
Create and edit your profile by clicking the “My Profile” tab, then move on to the “Overview and Release” section.
Please verify your identity by selecting the box at the bottom of the page.
