KCSE results were issued by CS Magoha yesterday. This time, some of the nation’s most prestigious schools were not among the top performers. Mangu National School, on the other hand, came back with a clean sweep of the best overall student honor. The number of students caught with misconduct increased from 150 to over 400 this time.

A massive school in Nyanza is in misery, even as the students prepare to take it to the next level with their parents. Parents, students, and teachers at Homabay’s Oriwo Boys High School are in shock after results were withheld due to allegations of misconduct.

Just a year after the Orero boys achieved it, the school moved nearly all of its students to university last year. It has long been one of Nyanza’s top schools, competing with Agoro Sare Rapogi, Kisumu Boys, and Homabay High. The examination malpractice investigation is currently ongoing.
