KCPE’s 8 Most Improved Schools in 2021

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha announced the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results.

While the general performance in this year’s tests improved, the CS observed that some schools saw significant increases in their mean score this year compared to 2020.

The eight most improved schools in the former eight provinces are listed below.

1. Coast – Kambi ya Waya Primary School – improved from 203 marks in 2020 to 266 this year.

2. Central – Njenga Karume Primary School – received a 248 average score, up from 207 in 2020.
3. Ngukuini Primary School in Eastern received a mean score of 250 in comparison to 165 in 2020.

4. Nairobi – Cheleta Primary School – received 263 points as a mean score, up from 213 the previous year.

5. Rift Valley’s Lenkishon Primary School received a mean score of 272 points, up from 198 the previous year.

6. Western – Kewa DEB Primary School – scored 284 points in this year’s exam, up from 216 points last year.

7. Nyangiti Primary School in Nyanza received a mean score of 232.
