The results of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) 2021 examination are expected to be released today Monday, February 28th, or Tuesday, February 29th, depending on the president’s schedule.
According to the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), 1,225,507 candidates sat for the KCPE exam in 2021, up from 1,191,752 in 2020.
The KCPE exams were held over three days, beginning on Monday, March 7th, and ending on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022.
Guidelines on How To Check KCPE Results
1.Process of checking your KCPE results online
1.In your device, open your browser
2.Follow this link https://knec.ac.ke to go to the KNEC website
3.On the KNEC website, click on the drop-down menu and select KCPE option
4.Continue selecting the year of examination
5.Next, you shall be required to enter your index number and submit.
6.In the next window, you shall see your KCPE results.
2.How to check your KCPE results via sms.
1.On your phone, open the sms application.
2.Choose the option to write new text.
3.Type in your KCPE index number followed by ‘KCPE’
4.Send this text to 20076
5.KNEC shall then send you a full text of your KCPE examination results.
KCSE REMAINING EXAMS
The KCSE examination is offered at 10, 413 examination centers around the country, with the papers distributed through 483 distribution centers.
A few of candidates had completed their tests and left the school grounds by Friday included, French, music, computer science, and home science students.
There will be no tests this week for students who are not taking Physics, Business, Agriculture, or Geography.
Candidates who are still in school will have Physics Paper 1 and Geography Paper 1 on Monday, followed by Business Paper 1 and Geography Paper 1 on Tuesday.
Physics and Geography Paper 2 will be given on Wednesday, and Business and Agriculture (Paper 2) will be given on Thursday.
The last day of class will be Friday, 1st April when students will engage in physics practicals.
KCSE EXAMINERS AND MARKING CENTRES
Examiners who shall be marking this year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations (KCSE) can now download their 2021 marking invitation letters. The letters are available on the Knec portal https://examinersapp.knec.ac.ke/. The marking centres and reporting dates have been indicated on the marking invitation letters.
