Safaricom Has Revamped Its Data Bundles, which is great news.
Safaricom customers can rejoice since their data bundles have been enhanced at no additional cost.
Customers on both postpay and prepay plans will be able to browse more and enjoy the internet at no additional cost.
Customers of Safaricom can now choose from a variety of new data plans. On their daily, weekly, monthly, and select all-in-one plans, users will have access to up to 100% data.
The move, according to Safaricom’s CEO, is intended to provide customers with greater value in recognition of the present economic situation, which has resulted in an increase in the cost of living.
The Sh20 daily plan will now get you 100MB instead of 50MB, the 99 shillings weekly plan will get you 500MB instead of 350MB, and the 1000 shillings monthly plan will get you 7GB instead of 5GB.
Our economy has demonstrated some resilience to the massive shocks it has been subjected to for the past two years, according to Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa.
Recognizing the financial difficulties that Safaricom customers have faced, Peter Ndegwa stated, “We hereby remain committed to delivering solutions that would cushion the challenges our consumers are facing by enabling them to enjoy the revolutionary potential of the internet through enhanced data.”
The new data plans arrive just a few days after Safaricom’s ‘Mwelekeo Ni Internet’ campaign, which was launched at the end of last year and was a huge success.
