Before the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) declares the winner, David Mwaure of the Agano Party has already acknowledged defeat.
On Sunday, August 14, Mwaure alleged in a media interview that there was a plot to obstruct the ongoing results verification at the National Tallying Centre (NTC) at the Bomas of Kenya.
Mwaure, who demanded that the IEBC cease tallying the votes, claimed that the disturbance at the Bomas of Kenya on Saturday, August 13, was intended to confuse voters and change the results.
“Dear Kenyans we wish to concede defeat in the 2022 presidential elections. This we are doing after seeing what our performance has been,” Mwaure stated.
The Agano Party leader also went ahead and endorsed UDA Presidential candidate, Dr William Ruto, as the IEBC conducts the vote tallying at Bomas of Kenya
