The Kenyan government has delegated responsibility to only one body to place students in higher education institutions. Among the educational institutions are universities, colleges, TVETS, and polytechnics.
This is accomplished through the use of the Kuccps Portal. The organization is known as the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).
Starting in May 2023, all 2022 KCSE-qualifying students will be able to select their courses through the KUCCPS application portal.
After candidates are selected, the Kuccps will assess their degree and certificate choices and enroll them in a number of government-funded higher education institutions.
Once Kuccps has completed the selection process, all 2022 KCPE candidates will be able to view their placement.The placement results for each student can then be viewed online.
The KUCCPS Placement Status Application will be closed after 2023–2024 selection.
By following the instructions listed below, candidates can access the student site to learn about their placements:
1) Visit: http://students.kuccps.net/
2) Login with your details as follows;
3) Username: (Use your full Index Number)
4) Year: (2022)
5) Password: (Use your Birth Certificate Number or KCPE index number)
After login in, the student will be able to see the following.
“Congratulations, followed by the university you have been placed then finally the course you will pursue.”
