RE: REPORTING PROGRAMME FOR STUDENTS FOLLOWING UNREST IN SCHOOL

This is to inform you that following the Board of Management meetings held on 1st, 10th and 13th November 2021 at the school,the following was resolved:

  • Form 1 class – 23rd November 2021
  • Form 2 class – 24th November 2021.
  • Form 3N,3S,3C,3E, 3W, – 25th November 2021
  • Form 3NE,3SE, 3SW  –  26th November 2021
  • Form 4E,4s ,4NE,4W  –  29th November 2021
  • Form 4N,4C,4SE, – 30th November 2021

Students to strictly stick to their reporting date and be in school by 8.00 am.

2. Damages and losses accrued

(i) Upon assessment by Public works department through the public works office,the Bill of Quantities (BQ) for the burnt dormitory was Ksh. 3,037,124.00.

(ii) . Upon assessment by public works department through the public works office,the Bill of Quantities (BQ) for damages to doors and windows was Ksh. 3, 100,000.00.

(iii) . Damage to the school plumbing works Ksh 338,600.00.

(iv) . Item vandalised and stolen items from the school Kitchen and store Ksh.498,200.00.

(v) Damage to the school electrical system and gadgets Ksh. 342,596.00.

(vi) . Items destroyed and stolen from the school canteen Ksh. 50,400.00.

(Vii) Items destroyed and stolen from teachers offices Ksh. 273,000.00.

(viii) Vandalised  school vehicles Ksh.80, 200.00.

(ix) 36 burnt double Decker beds Ksh 540,000.00

(x) . Assorted items for affected students(72 students each to get 4″ HDD mattress1, short sleeved shirts -2, trousers-1. pullover- 1, blanket-1, socks pair, and tie 1) total Ksh. 439,200.00.

Total cost of damages and losses Ksh.8, 699,400.00.Total school population 2148.Each student to pay Ksh. 4,050.00.

This amount must be paid by all students on the reporting day and all outstanding school fees must be cleared before admission.

No cash is  accepted in school only bank Slips or bankers cheques .

On admission students must have their boarding items and a set of labelled uniform
