Jobs for assistant finance officers, bank supervision analysts, assurance associates, information technology (IT) audit associates, and banking and payment service analysts have been advertised by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).
According to an advertisement , the central bank requested that all applications be submitted using Deloitte Kenya’s online recruitment portal.
The advertisement added that applications must be received by October 14, 2022.
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management, economics, finance, or a related field is required for the post of assistant finance officer.
In addition, the bank requires individuals to have qualifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Candidates for analyst positions in bank regulation should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, accounting, business, or a closely related field.
In addition to this, the candidates need to show their professional qualifications, such as the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and the Certified Information Manager certifications (CISM).
Candidates for the IT audit associate role should have a Bachelor’s degree in either computer science, accounting, or business.
Applicants for assurance associate positions are expected to meet professional criteria such as CPA in addition to holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting, management, economics, finance, or a related field.
Those who wish to work for a central bank as a banking and payment service analyst are advised to earn a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, business administration, economics, social studies, statistics, or computer science from an accredited university.
All positions require a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Additionally to the application and cv, candidates will be requested to submit official, certified copies of their academic certificates.
