The campus was established in 1927 and currently has a student population of about 4,200 students undertaking the various certificate, diploma and higher diploma courses offered here. The campus is located in the capital next to Kenyatta National Hospital, Ngong’ Road. The campus has modern and well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture halls, computer lab, workshops, hostels and offers transport for students and staff members.
KMTC Nakuru Campus
The college’s Nakuru campus which has a student population of 1530 is located in a serene environment along with Cresent Road Milimani estate about 1 kilometer north of Nakuru town. It sits on a 56.2 acres piece of land that is shared with the Nakuru County Teaching and Referral Hospital and boasts modern hostels, state of the art library and computer lab, transport facilities as well as a number of clubs, societies, and sports facilities.
KMTC Karen Campus
Karen campus, which was established in 1965, is a “center of excellence” in training Nutrition and Dietetic courses. It is situated in the Karen residential area about 22 kilometers from Nairobi city, facing the slopes of Ngong hills and sits on a 12.5 acres piece of land. KMTC Garissa Campus
Started in 1980, the Garissa campus is situated in Garissa town, in Garissa County. The upper campus, which hosts the administration blocks, is located next to Garissa County Teaching and Referral Hospital while the lower campus is found next to GK Prison and is mainly the student hostels. The campus’ student population is 710 and offers the best clinical experience sites and modern facilities.
KMTC Embu Campus
The campus, which was started in 1975, is situated 1 kilometer from Embu town, along Embu-Meru highway behind Embu Level Five Hospital, in Embu County. A wide variety of diploma and higher diploma courses are offered on the campus which has new high-class facilities and over 750 students population.
KMTC Mombasa Campus
Established in 1948, the campus sits on a 2.2-acre piece of land in Tononoka Mzizima in Mombasa Island, next to Coast General Hospital along Abdel Naser Road. It hosts over 1200 students and is within proximity of several clinical experience sites used by students for practicals.
KMTC Kisumu Campus
The campus was started in 1953 and is located in Kondele area next to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital on the Kisumu-Kakamega road, approximately 2 kilometers from Kisumu town. This is one of the largest medical training institutions in Kisumu county with a student population of 1052 and releasing over 200 trained health professionals annually.
KMTC Machakos Campus
The KMTC Machakos campus was established in 1959 next to Machakos County Teaching and Referral Hospital within a calm, and the breathtaking environment with a beautiful view of the hill peaks and the Yatta Plateau. KMTC Nyeri Campus
The Nyeri campus was established in 1947 and offers a wide range of certificate and diploma courses. In addition, short courses in Medical Laboratory Sciences and HIV Training Services are offered. The campus has a student population of 920 and boasts top-of-the-range and well-equipped library, ICT laboratory and ultrasound machine beside the numerous clinical experience sites within the campus’ proximity.
