According to the latest Webometrics ranking, the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is the finest tertiary college in Kenya.
Kenya Forestry Research Institute, East Africa Institute of Certified Studies, and Amani College were beaten by KMTC, which came in second, third, and fourth, respectively.
At the same time, the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities ranked Medical Training Institute 31st out of the top 100 universities in Kenya.
The best university was the University of Nairobi (UoN), which was followed by Kenyatta University and Egerton University.
Rongo University, Kenya Methodist University, African Nazarene University, Kabianga University, and Laikipia University, among others, were ranked behind KMTC.
The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities is a ranking system for universities around the world based on a composite indicator that considers both the volume of Web content (number of web pages and files) as well as the visibility and impact of these web publications as measured by the number of external in links (site citations).
