APPLICATION FOR PLACEMENT OF STUDENTS TO UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES FOR THE YEAR 2023/2024
First Revision of Choices.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) wishes to announce the opening of applications for placement of students to universities, technical training institutions, and teacher training colleges.
The application portal opened on May 17, 2023, and will close on June 7, 2023.
All 2022 KCSE examination candidates are invited to apply. Those who applied at school before the KCSE examination are also advised to revise their choices to take into account the program costs as published on the portal.

To revise your choices or apply for the first time, access the Student’s Portal via the KUCCPS website, www.kuccps.ac.ke.
You may also log in directly through the link students.kuccps.net or download and use the KUCCPS Students App. Detailed guidelines, minimum requirements, available programs and their costs, and universities and colleges are accessible on the portal.
Eligibility for Government Scholarship and Loan
Only students who apply through KUCCPS and are placed for degree programs in public universities and diploma, craft certificate, and artisan courses in TVET institutions under the State Department for Vocational and Technical Training will be eligible to receive the government scholarship and a loan from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
Students placed in private universities and other institutions will not qualify for government scholarships but are eligible to apply for a loan from HELB.
Application Support
In addition to the KUCCPS offices at ACK Garden House on 1″ Ngong Avenue in Community, Nairobi, applicants may visit the following Huduma Centres for support: Nairobi (GPO), Eldoret, Nakuru, Kisumu, Nyeri, Mombasa,Garissa, Kakamega, Meru, Kitale, Thika, Isiolo, Narok, Laikipia, and Kitui Huduma Centres, or any other Huduma Centres.
