APPLICANTS AND SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES FOR THE POSITION
OF VICE CHANCELLOR – KISII UNIVERSITY
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 35(1) (a) (v) of the Universities Act, 2012 and Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act No. 18 of 2018, the Public Service Commission invited applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Vice
Chancellor in the print media and Commission’s website on 28th February, 2023.
The advertisement closed on 20th March, 2023 and attracted a total of Sixteen (16)
applications. Following the conclusion of the shortlisting exercise, the Commission
publishes the names of the applicants and the shortlisted candidates including the interview schedule:

Open in new tab The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at the Public Service Commission,off Harambee Avenue Nairobi on the date and time indicated.
The candidates should be at the venue at least fifteen (15) minutes before the starting time.
Shortlisted candidates should bring originals of the following documents:
(i) National Identity Card;
(ii) Academic and Professional Certificates and Transcripts;
(iii) Letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University Education(CUE) for candidates who possess degrees from foreign universities; and
(iv) Any other supporting documents and testimonials.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Members of the public are invited to avail any credible information of interest relating to any of the shortlisted candidates (through sworn affidavits) to the Secretary/CEO Public Service Commission, 4thfloor Commission House, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi or
online through [email protected] so as to be received on or before 16th June, 2023.
