It is every girl’s goal to be accepted into one of Kenya’s prestigious national girls’ schools. KCSE national schools have unrivaled techniques for developing other qualities in addition to being practically certain of outstanding results.

In most cases, public school education is not regarded seriously, but thanks to major advancements, the teaching profession has become saner.

Despite the fact that there are a few national girls’ schools that are underperforming, the vast majority of them have consistently obtained great performance in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam.

Most parents choose to send their daughters to Only-girls schools rather than mixed institutions. Every parent and guardian wishes to give the best education possible to his or her child, especially at the secondary school level.

This is because the grade obtained in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, or KCSE, exams determines the learner’s future (in most situations). The KCSE grade determines the student’s placement at a tertiary institution (university, college, or polytechnic).

A good grade will undoubtedly enable the child to pursue a good and marketable course, boosting the chances of landing a job after graduation.

Pangani Girls

Pangani Girls is a famous national school and one of Kenya’s top-performing girls’ schools. It is located in Nairobi County, along Juja Road. Since its establishment, the 8-4-4 system has succeeded admirably, making it an excellent choice for KCPE high achievers. Over the last two decades, the school has produced top students in national examinations throughout the country.

Nakuru Girls High School

This is one of the greatest national schools for girls in Nakuru County. In the early 1920s, Nakuru Girls began as a European study institution. However, it is now a national school, and students from all throughout Kenya can enroll.

Kenyan High School

Kenya High School began in 1910 as the Nairobi European School, a co-educational school situated in facilities meant for police barracks. Boys and girls were separated in 1931.

Miss Kerby was appointed as the school’s first headmistress in 1935. Kenya High has consistently ranked among Kenya’s top 10 secondary learning schools throughout the last decade.

Alliance Girls’ High School

Limuru High School

Limuru Girls High School is a national secondary school in the Central Region of Kenya’s Limuru Constituency, Kiambu County. Limuru Girls High is a public boarding secondary school for girls only.

As a result, over the last ten years, more than 80% of the institution’s candidates have gained admission to local and worldwide universities.

Maryhill High School

Maryhill Girls High, located in Thika, is one of the greatest girls’ schools in Kenya. While the first goal of the institution was to educate mixed-race girls who could not attend African or European schools, it is now available to all intelligent students. The school is also a haven for students who want to participate in extracurricular activities like drama and athletics.

 Moi Girls High School-Eldoret

Because of its academic brilliance over the years, it is the sole national girls’ school in Eldoret and one of the most sought-after girls’ institutions in Kenya. Moi Girls’ High-Eldoret’s school culture and facilities make it an ideal choice for high achievers. Furthermore, its clubs and organizations provide students with comprehensive growth as they transition from high school to university.

Brigid’s Girls High School

It is a national school in Trans Nzoia County’s Saboti Constituency. It is dedicated to providing all students with a safe, positive, and intelligent learning environment.
