The Kenyan government, through the Ministry of Education, has released a new school calendar, which will be used when primary and secondary schools prepare to report for the 2022 school year later this month.

Despite rising concerns about the year being short, the program is designed to ensure a smooth transition from one year to the next in 2023.

Following the newly amended full school calendar for 2022, all primary and secondary school students are expected to return to school on April 25, 2022, and begin the first term.

The third term in 2022 starts on 26th, September and closes on 25th November 2022.
